Hello!  I’m Rosalía Mejía Rivera, a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, with a BFA in Industrial Design.

Throughout my time at RISD, I found interest in furniture and tabletop design with a special focus on the way that movement can help us engage with products. Keen on problem-solving and research, but also interested in the way aesthetics can be molded around function, I’ve found my work lies within the visually striking yet utterly functional.

I feel most content when I’m exploring multiple mediums; at throughout my time at RISD, I explored furniture and lighting design, soft goods, production ceramics, as well as the liberal arts. In my personal life, the fine arts are
always at work.
